Two People Killed, Five Wounded in Ukrainian Forces' Night Attack on Crimea
SIMFEROPOL, July 29 -- Russia's Crimea governor Sergei Aksyonov announced on Wednesday that two people had been killed and five others wounded in a Ukrainian Armed Forces attack overnight, in the latest reported strike on the peninsula.
"Unfortunately, two people were killed and five others were injured as a result of another nighttime enemy attack on the Republic of Crimea," Aksyonov wrote on his Telegram channel.
He did not specify what weapons were used in the attack, which locations were struck, or what targets were affected. The statement was published early Wednesday morning Moscow time.
