Russia Knocks Out Power Facilities in Sumy Region With Geran-4 Drone Strike on Substation
New Delhi, July 5 -- MOSCOW - Russian forces struck a 110 kV electrical substation in the Sumy Region on Sunday using Geran-4 drones, knocking out a number of facilities used by the Ukrainian armed forces, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The substation was located in the settlement of Dyakivka in the Sumy Region, according to the ministry's statement. The Defense Ministry described the strike as targeting facilities used in the interests of Ukraine's armed formations and released video footage of a Geran-4 Seeker drone striking what it called a military energy infrastructure facility.
