New Delhi, July 3 -- WASHINGTON - The most significant thing about OpenAI Inc.'s proposal to donate five percent of its equity to a US sovereign wealth fund is not the percentage. It is what the donation would make the US government.
The Financial Times reported Thursday, citing two people familiar with the matter, that OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman has proposed transferring a portion of the company's equity to a government-managed investment fund.
