New Delhi, July 27 -- WASHINGTON - The nearly 7.4 million Americans who receive Supplemental Security Income will see their August payment arrive in their accounts on Thursday, July 31. No additional deposit will come in August. The Social Security Administration sends SSI payments on the first of each month, and when that date falls on a weekend or federal holiday, the agency moves payment to the prior business day. August 1 is a Saturday. July 31 is the day.
