Meta to Build C$13 Billion AI Data Centre in Alberta, Its First in Canada
New Delhi, July 10 -- EDMONTON - The next time Meta's recommendation algorithm decides what you see on Facebook, or its Llama AI model answers a developer's query, some of that computation may run through a C$13 billion facility under construction in Alberta - if Meta can secure the land, power, and regulatory approvals it needs to build it.
