IRVINE, Aug. 13 -- The last of Michael Phelps' records to survive at the Pan Pacific Championships lasted until Wednesday night. Luca Urlando entered the water in lane four at William Woollett Aquatics Center, swam 1:53.11 in the men's 200-meter butterfly, and removed the name that had been on the meet record for 20 years.

"That's the dream right there," Urlando said. "It can't get much better than that. It was a fun race."

Phelps set his mark at the 2006 Pan Pacific Championships in Victoria, Canada. Urlando, the reigning world champion in the event, broke it in Irvine at the same pool where he won the U.S. National Championship two weeks earlier with a 1:54.45.
