India, March 16 -- Iran has demanded that the countries responsible for attacking its territory compensate the Islamic Republic for the destruction caused during the ongoing regional conflict, with Tehran insisting that those responsible for launching military strikes must ultimately pay for the damage inflicted on the country.

Iran's ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, said in an interview that all destruction caused during the conflict must be assessed and that the countries responsible for initiating the attacks should compensate Iran for the losses.
