New Delhi, Aug. 27 -- The earnings season that most analysts had called "cautiously optimistic" in early July closed this month with something harder to dismiss: eighteen percent profit growth for Nifty 50 companies in the April-June quarter, the strongest in ten consecutive quarters, according to a Motilal Oswal Financial Services analysis of the first quarter of fiscal year 2027.
