ICRC President Tells Lavrov Red Cross Committed to Alleviating Suffering in Russia and Ukraine
MOSCOW, July 1 -- The president of the International Committee of the Red Cross expressed hope on Wednesday for sustained cooperation with Russia as she met with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow, pledging that the organization would continue working to ease the humanitarian toll of the war in Ukraine on families on both sides of the conflict.
