PODGORICA, Aug. 13 -- The villa search in Montenegro's capital turned up more than 50,000 euros in cash, over 100 computers, 82 mobile phones including encrypted models, 217 SIM cards, GPS tracking equipment, a drone, and a car. The operation running from those premises had apparently assumed that a sophisticated enough technical setup made the jurisdiction irrelevant.

On Tuesday, Montenegrin law enforcement swept a villa and other premises in Podgorica and detained 50 citizens of Ukraine, Moldova, and Slovakia, along with the equipment that had made the operation possible.
