New Delhi, June 14 -- BTS stood at the center of the 2026 American Music Awards on May 25, accepting Artist of the Year for the second time in their career - and the first since the mandatory South Korean military service that kept the group's seven members off global stages for the better part of three years. The ceremony, hosted by Queen Latifah at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+, marked a formal homecoming: BTS made their US television performance debut at the AMAs in 2017, and the 2026 ceremony, nine years later, gave them the night's top prize.
