New Delhi, Nov. 1 -- Footage described as a Persona 1 remake is circulating online, but players should not mistake it for an announcement. Push Square and IGN have reported on the video while questioning whether it shows an authentic Atlus project.

The distinction matters because a video resembling a modern version of the original Persona does not, by itself, establish who made it. Neither report provides an official announcement confirming the alleged remake.

IGN describes the clip as lasting a little less than two minutes. The Eastern Herald has not independently authenticated the footage, established its development history or verified the identity of its creator.
