ADF welcomes UN disability guidelines amid assisted-dying debate
New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- ADF International has welcomed new guidelines from the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, saying they recognise violence in assisted dying where disability is treated as a basis for ending life.
"Living with a disability deserves a way forward, not a way out," the organisation said in a statement supplied to The Eastern Herald. It said it had advocated for the recognition.
