India, March 11 -- Human Mobile Devices and Flipkart have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at introducing HMD's 2026 smartphone portfolio to the Indian market. As part of the arrangement, Flipkart will serve as a key e-commerce partner for the first smartphone launch in India from HMD in 2026.

The partnership positions Flipkart as a primary online distribution channel alongside other retail and online platforms. According to the companies, the initiative aims to expand the reach of HMD's upcoming smartphone portfolio across multiple consumer segments in India. The first smartphone under this collaboration is expected to launch in the coming months, followed by additional devices over a period of two to four months.
