India, May 29 -- boAt is trying to solve a small but very real problem in the wearable market - charging clutter. With the launch of the boAt Storm Call 4 and Ultima Vogue 2, the company has introduced what it calls India's first smartwatch lineup with direct USB Type-C charging support.

That change may sound simple, but it reflects a larger shift happening across consumer tech.
