Tanzania, Sept. 11 -- Dar es Salaam. One hundred young Tanzanians have been challenged to move beyond talking about change and take practical action to help shape the country's future as they begin a two-week leadership fellowship.

The call was made on September 10, 2026, during the launch of the second cohort of the Tanzania NextGen Leaders Fellowship (TNLF) at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM).

The fellowship, organised by African Leadership Initiatives for Impact (ALII) in collaboration with HakiElimu and supported by development partners, brings together young people aged 17 to 19 who completed Form Six in 2026 from Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar.
