Tanzania, Aug. 24 -- Dar es Salaam. President Samia Suluhu Hassan and African Diaspora Development Institute (ADDI) president Arikana Chihombori-Quao have discussed ways of strengthening cooperation between Tanzania, the institute and the African diaspora to support development across the continent.

Their talks on Monday, August 24, 2026, at State House in Dar es Salaam focused on equipping young Africans with knowledge of the continent's history, their role in development and the political and economic changes shaping the world, according to a statement from the Directorate of Presidential Communications.
