Tanzania, Aug. 6 -- Morogoro. Kilombero Sugar Company Limited (KSCL) says it is stepping up investment to expand domestic sugar production, with the commissioning of its K4 Factory expected to significantly boost output and support Tanzania's drive towards sugar self-sufficiency.

The company said the new factory represents a major milestone in its expansion strategy, increasing production capacity while strengthening the country's ability to meet growing demand for locally produced sugar and reduce dependence on imports.
