Tanzania, Sept. 20 -- Dar es Salaam. Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports Paul Makonda has rounded off his four-day visit to Spain by meeting FC Barcelona players as Tanzania seeks to deepen ties with the Spanish giants ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Makonda, who travelled to Barcelona on September 14 at the invitation of club president Joan Laporta, used the visit to engage with members of the club as part of wider efforts to explore opportunities for football development in Tanzania.
