Tanzania, Aug. 24 -- Dar es Salaam. Greater opportunities for women in education, employment and leadership are reshaping marriage in Tanzania, challenging traditional expectations about the roles of husbands and wives.
Where men were traditionally expected to provide financially while women focused on childcare and household duties, many couples now say responsibilities are increasingly shared based on income, time, ability and family needs.
