Tanzania, June 5 -- Arusha. The East African Community (EAC) has called on partner states to create business-friendly policies and strengthen the investment climate to ensure the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) becomes a catalyst for tourism growth, regional integration and economic development.

The regional bloc has also urged private sector players to develop cross-border tourism packages that will enable visitors attending the tournament to explore multiple destinations across East Africa.
