Tanzania, May 8 -- Dar es Salaam. Tanzanian swimmer Crissa delivered an impressive performance at the African Swimming Championships in Algeria after qualifying for the final of the women's 50-metre backstroke event and finishing in fourth place among the continent's top swimmers.

Crissa secured her place in the highly competitive final after producing a strong display in the preliminary heats, where she managed to rank among the eight fastest swimmers to advance.
