Tanzania, May 25 -- Chris Brown has officially added "Doctor" to his name.

The R&B star was awarded an honorary Doctor of Philosophy degree in Visual & Performing Arts by Harvest Christian University, a faith-based institution in the United States, marking another milestone in a career that has spanned music, dance, and large-scale performance production.

Brown shared photos from the graduation ceremony on social media alongside the caption: "I DID A THING."

The recognition comes during a busy period for the singer, following the release of his latest album Brown and ahead of his upcoming "The R&B Tour" with Usher.
