Tanzania, Aug. 12 -- Alikiba, Bien, Diamond Platnumz, Marioo and other East African artistes are driving a growing wave of cross-border collaborations, as musicians from Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda increasingly join forces to reach new audiences.

Spotify's Global Impact List for H1 2026 has placed "Finale," "AYAYAAH," "Lete Sound," "Pom Pom" and "Nasinzia II" among East Africa's leading collaboration tracks, highlighting the growing influence of cross-border partnerships on the region's music industry.

According to Spotify, the collaborations are helping artistes move beyond their individual national audiences by combining different sounds, cultures and fan bases.
