Tanzania, July 30 -- Dar es Salaam. The Tanzania Kabaddi Sports Association (TKSA) has announced the names of 31 players who have successfully passed the selection process for the men's and women's national teams that will represent Tanzania at the 4th African Kabaddi Championship (World Kabaddi Qualifier) scheduled to take place in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), from August 20 to 30, 2026.

The selection exercise involved eight women's and men's clubs and was conducted on July 25, 2026, at the St Joseph University grounds in Luguruni, Dar es Salaam. The exercise aimed to identify players with the ability to form competitive national squads.
