Bangladesh, July 10 -- US-Bangla Airlines will suspend all flights on the Dhaka-Jashore route from July 16, citing declining passenger demand and continued financial losses, raising concerns over the potential impact on business activities and employment linked to Jashore Airport.

According to airport officials, the route has experienced a sharp decline in traffic since the opening of the Padma Bridge, which significantly reduced travel time between Dhaka and the country's southwestern region by road. As more travelers have shifted to buses and private vehicles, demand for domestic air travel on the route has dropped substantially.
