Bangladesh, July 12 -- US-Bangla Airlines is set to resume scheduled flights between Dhaka and Kathmandu from September, according to sources familiar with the development, marking the carrier's return to the Nepal route after a prolonged suspension.

The private airline is expected to operate four weekly flights using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, expanding travel options between Bangladesh and Nepal for both leisure and business travelers.

The Dhaka-Kathmandu service was suspended in March 2018 following an accident at Tribhuvan International Airport, after which the airline halted operations on the route.
