Storm damages three Air India jets at Delhi Airport
Bangladesh, June 8 -- The incident occurred at around 4:40 pm local time, near Terminal 2 parking stands. Strong winds and heavy rain pushed ground support equipment into the parked aircraft, forcing the airline to ground all three jets for inspections and repairs.
The aircraft were not carrying passengers at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.
All three jets were Airbus A320 family aircraft. One is expected to require longer repairs, while the other two may return to service sooner.
