Bangladesh, Sept. 27 -- Outgoing Singaporean Charge d'Affaires Mitchel Lee made the offer during a courtesy meeting with Minister of Home Affairs Salahuddin Ahmed at the Home Ministry office in the Bangladesh Secretariat on September 27, according to a PID handout.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations, capacity building of the Bangladesh Police, modernization of security systems at airports and land ports, technology transfer, economic and trade cooperation, and other issues of mutual interest.

Lee expressed Singapore's willingness to assist Bangladesh in adopting modern technologies for border and immigration security and to provide technical support in these areas.
