Bangladesh, June 24 -- Singapore Airlines has experienced a second tire-related incident involving a Boeing 737 MAX 8 operating the same Singapore-Kuala Lumpur service within eight days, according to reports.
The latest event involved flight SQ114 from Singapore Changi Airport to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. After landing, the aircraft reportedly suffered a double-tire blowout, requiring maintenance before it could return to service.
The incident closely resembles an occurrence on June 13, when another Singapore Airlines 737 MAX 8 operating the same flight number experienced a double-tire failure upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur. That event led to a temporary runway closure and flight disruptions at the Malaysian airport.
