Bangladesh, July 15 -- According to an official notification signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Shafiuzzaman Bhuiyan, expatriates can perform Hajj through either government or private arrangements and must complete pre-registration through the e-Hajj system at www.hajj.gov.bd.

Applicants need a Bangladeshi passport, national identity card, or birth certificate, a passport-size photograph, a WhatsApp-enabled mobile number, and Bangladeshi bank account details. One bank account would be sufficient for multiple applicants from a family.

During registration, applicants must also submit NRB (Non-Resident Bangladeshi) information along with a valid residency document stating their country of residence.
