Bangladesh, June 7 -- PAL will become only the second full member airline based in Southeast Asia within Oneworld, granting it access to a network of nearly 1,000 destinations across more than 170 countries and territories.

The Philippine carrier's extensive domestic and regional network is expected to deepen Oneworld's footprint in Southeast Asia, opening new vital links to key Philippine destinations for travelers worldwide.

PAL Holdings President Lucio C. Tan III described the development as a defining and transformative moment for the airline, saying it would bring the Philippines and the region closer to the world like never before.
