New Zealand keen to expand cooperation in tourism, higher education
Bangladesh, May 18 -- During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations, trade expansion, and opportunities for enhancing mutual cooperation between Bangladesh and New Zealand.
Highlighting New Zealand's interest in strengthening partnerships with Bangladesh, High Commissioner David Pine said his country sees significant potential for collaboration in tourism and higher education, alongside the pharmaceuticals and food processing industries.
The envoy also praised Bangladesh's active role in addressing the adverse impacts of global climate change and encouraged the country to play a stronger leadership role on the international stage in tackling climate-related challenges.
