Bangladesh, Sept. 1 -- He made the remarks on September 1 at a meeting held at the conference room of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism at the Bangladesh Secretariat to finalize the draft Civil Aviation Rules 2026.

Presiding over the meeting, the minister said the government is working to increase investment in the civil aviation sector, and the new rules must therefore facilitate business and investment.

"We have gathered today to formulate the Civil Aviation Rules 2026 by amending the Civil Aviation Rules 1984 after 42 years," he said, adding that necessary provisions would also be incorporated into the new rules to improve passenger services and ensure safety and security in civil aviation.
