Bangladesh, June 24 -- Malaysia Airlines has been awarded the Seven Star PLUS safety rating by AirlineRatings.com, becoming one of a select group of airlines recognized for high standards in cabin safety and operational performance.

The rating places Malaysia Airlines alongside carriers including Etihad Airways, Cathay Pacific, and Air New Zealand, according to the aviation safety and product rating website.

Seven Star PLUS is an enhanced safety recognition available only to airlines that already hold AirlineRatings.com's highest Seven Star safety rating. To qualify, airlines undergo an independent audit of cabin crew safety compliance conducted across six anonymous flights.
