Bangladesh, Oct. 8 -- Le Meridien Dhaka has appointed Gregor Schmidt-Kiefer as its new general manager, bringing more than two decades of international luxury hospitality experience to the Marriott International property.

Schmidt-Kiefer has held senior management roles across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with experience spanning hotel operations, commercial performance and guest services.

Before joining Le Meridien Dhaka, he served as hospitality director at Wirefox Hospitality Ltd., where he oversaw a portfolio of boutique hotels in Scotland and Northern Ireland. His previous positions include general manager of Marriott Karachi Hotel and area general manager for the O'Callaghan Collection in Dublin.
