Govt. planning kids' zone at Sylhet Airport for migrant families
Bangladesh, June 24 -- The announcement came from Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury during a visit to the airport on June 24, where he reviewed ongoing services and facilities for expatriate Bangladeshis.
The minister said the initiative is being considered in recognition of the large number of migrant workers and their family members who regularly use the airport.
Alongside the Kids' Zone, the government is also working to strengthen security measures, improve support services for elderly and sick passengers, and ensure safer transportation for travelers arriving on late-night flights.
