Dhaka, May 11 -- The government has issued a stern warning against human trafficking networks and illegal migration syndicates following recent deaths of Bangladeshi migrants in the Mediterranean Sea while attempting to reach Europe through the Libya route.
At a meeting on migration and mobility held at the State Guest House Padma in Dhaka on May 11, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam said the government would take strict legal action against those involved in facilitating irregular migration, read a press release.
