Govt releases Hajj 2027 roadmap, asks pilgrims to register by Sept 26
Bangladesh, June 8 -- The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the schedule at a ceremony in Jeddah on May 29 and subsequently handed it over to religious affairs ministers of participating countries.
Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain (Kaikobad) attended the event as an invited guest. Saudi Assistant Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Al Hassan bin Yahya Al Manakhrah formally handed him the roadmap on the occasion.
According to the roadmap, the bilateral Hajj agreement between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia will be signed on November 8, 2026. Issuance of Hajj visas will begin on January 28, 2027, while flight operations are scheduled to commence on April 8, 2027.
