Bangladesh, July 15 -- Since the programme began in November 2022, 47 Airbus A380s and 53 Boeing 777s have undergone comprehensive nose-to-tail upgrades at Emirates Engineering in Dubai. By December 2026, another 20 aircraft will be retrofitted, taking the airline well beyond the halfway mark of its US$5 billion investment to deliver a consistently enhanced onboard experience.

Over 44 months, more than 400 engineers and technicians have dedicated 4.4 million man-hours to transform the aircraft. Each retrofit includes the installation of Emirates' award-winning Premium Economy cabin, with more than 3,800 seats fitted across the fleet, expanding access to the popular product on more routes.
