Bangladesh, June 9 -- Emirates has announced plans to launch daily flights to Berlin and Stuttgart, subject to approval from the German Federal Ministry of Transport, with the airline set to invest more than EUR 100 million annually in operational expenses, staffing, airport charges, fuel, and related services.

The proposed services aim to strengthen long-haul connectivity for two of Germany's major economic centres. Berlin, home to nearly 3.9 million people and one of Europe's leading political, diplomatic, and startup hubs, currently has limited long-haul air links, with over 85 percent of its international connectivity focused within Europe, according to OAG schedule data.
