Emirates becomes first airline to operate Boeing 777-300ER converted freighter
Bangladesh, July 1 -- The converted Boeing 777-300ERSF offers a payload capacity of 100 tonnes and 811 cubic metres of cargo volume-25% more cargo space than the production Boeing 777-F. With 47 pallet positions, it can accommodate 10 additional pallets, making it ideally suited for high-volume shipments such as e-commerce cargo, which now accounts for around 20% of global air freight and continues to grow.
With its fleet of Boeing 777-F freighters, Emirates SkyCargo has already expanded its dedicated freighter network from just over 40 destinations in February to 62 destinations today.
