Dhaka Airport's Third Terminal operation agreement likely by early September
Bangladesh, July 20 -- The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) expects to sign an agreement with a Japanese consortium to operate the Third Terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by the end of August or the first week of September, a senior official said on July 20.
Air Commodore Abu Sayeed Mehboob Khan, CAAB's Member (Operations and Planning), said the agreement would cover only the third terminal, with the Japanese operator having no role in managing the airport's existing First and Second terminals.
