Bangladesh, June 3 -- Cathay Cargo has expanded its order for Airbus A350F freighters, exercising purchase rights for two additional aircraft and bringing its total commitment to eight.

The new-generation freighters will support Cathay Cargo's long-term growth plans and strengthen Hong Kong's position as a leading international air cargo hub by enhancing connectivity across its global cargo network.

Cathay Group Chief Executive Officer Ronald Lam said, the investment reflects confidence in future demand and supports the carrier's ambition to be the world's best air cargo airline.
