Bangladesh, Aug. 17 -- Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) is set to roll out pink buses operated by women drivers and conductors, exclusively for female passengers, with the official inauguration scheduled for August 18 at the organization's Dhaka Truck Depot in Tejgaon.

Road Transport and Bridges, Railways, and Shipping Minister Shaikh Rabiul Alam will attend the launch program as chief guest, while State Minister Habibur Rashid will be present as special guest.

Road Transport and Highways Division Secretary Dr. Mohammad Ziaul Haque will also join the event, and BRTC Chairman Abdul Latif Molla will chair the event.
