Bangladesh, Oct. 10 -- Biman Bangladesh Airlines Flight BG436 made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka on October 10 after its nose landing gear failed to extend normally, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).

In an official statement, the regulatory body said the flight, operating with a De Havilland Canada DHC-8-400 aircraft, departed Cox's Bazar for Dhaka at 1:35 pm, with 78 passengers and four crew members on board. It was scheduled to land at 2:30 pm.
