Bangladesh, Aug. 12 -- The issue came up during a meeting between Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir and Maldivian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Shiuneen Rasheed at the Prime Minister's Office in the capital on August 12.

During the courtesy meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest, with emphasis on increasing cooperation in tourism, human resources, and investment.

The foreign affairs adviser urged the Maldivian side to further expand employment opportunities for Bangladeshi workers in the island nation.
