Dhaka, April 28 -- The Embassy of Bangladesh in Bangkok has facilitated the repatriation of three Bangladeshi nationals who were rescued from scam centers in Myawaddy, Myanmar, according to an official social media post on April 28.
The rescued individuals were brought back with the support of the governments of Thailand and Myanmar, along with other partners involved in cross-border coordination.
Embassy officials said that, including the latest group, around 50 Bangladeshi citizens have so far been repatriated after being rescued from similar scam operations in the border area, highlighting a growing concern over trafficking and forced involvement in online fraud networks.
