Bangladesh, Oct. 13 -- Installation of automated process control systems (APCS) has been completed at Units 1 and 2 of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). In addition, Rooppur is the first Rosatom project to implement the Operator Information Support System (OISS).

Supplied by Rosatom Automated Control Systems (RASU), the systems comprise approximately 20,000 pieces of equipment across 43 systems. They will monitor more than 7,000 process parameters, including reactor stability, supporting safe and efficient plant operation.

Another key component -Operator Information Support System (OISS), developed by RASU using a digital twin of the power unit has already been integrated at Unit 1 and is participating in start-up operations. A si...
