Bangladesh, July 9 -- French Ambassador to Bangladesh Jean-Marc Sere-Charlet made the remarks during a courtesy call on Biman Bangladesh Airlines Chairman Rumee A. Hossain on July 8, where the two sides discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation in civil aviation.

During the meeting, the ambassador recalled the longstanding partnership between France and Bangladesh and explored avenues for enhanced collaboration in the aviation sector, read a press release from the embassy.

He reaffirmed France's commitment to supporting the development and modernization of Bangladesh's aviation industry, pointing to the successful cooperation between French technology company Thales and the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).
